Aytaç Food Launches 6 MWp Ground-Mounted Solar Power Plant in Çankırı Çerkeş
Forex - Aytaç Gıda, one of the companies of Yıldız Holding, has commissioned a 6 MWp ground-mounted Solar Power Plant (SPP) in Çankırı Çerkeş. The plant, built in partnership with Chint Green Energy under the Build-Operate model, will allow Aytaç Gıda to meet all of its electricity consumption from renewable energy sources.
Yıldız Holding continues its green transformation investments in all its companies within the framework of its sustainability efforts, guided by the philosophy of "This World is Ours" and the "Waste-Free Company" business model. With the commissioning of the Solar Power Plant occupying approximately 75,000 square meters of Aytaç Gıda's factory land in Çankırı Çerkeş, the entire annual electricity demand of the production facility will be met from renewable energy sources.
The 6 MWp ground-mounted Solar Power Plant project, implemented in collaboration with Chint Green Energy under the Build-Operate model, aims to prevent approximately 5,500 tons of carbon emissions annually.
