DMM Denies Claims of Chemical-Laden Tanker from Turkey Heading to Israel's Haifa Port

The Forex - Disinformation Combat Center (DMM) stated that the claim "a chemical-laden tanker departing from Turkey is heading to Israel's Haifa Port" is not true.

In the statement from DMM, it was noted that the vessel in question did not load any cargo from our country to transport to Israel, nor did it bring any cargo from Israel to our country. The statement continued:

"An inspection conducted through the Port Single Window System revealed that the Panama-flagged vessel TRANS FJORD arrived at Yalova Port on November 22, 2024. It was determined that the ship loaded 'icy acetic acid' and 'polymers of vinyl acetate or other vinyl esters and other vinyl polymers' at Belgium’s Antwerp Port and discharged at Yalova Port.

The vessel's empty departure notification was approved on November 25, 2024.

Do not trust unfounded claims aimed at manipulating public opinion."
