Top Gainers on Borsa Istanbul Today: Which Stocks Made the Most Profit?

The BIST 100 index started the week with a decline, experienced horizontal movements during the day, and recovered slightly towards the closing.

The BIST 100 began the day with a drop towards the 9,570 point range. The index found support at this level during the morning session, and while facing resistance around 9,650 points during intra-day trading, it began moving above this resistance with buying activity in the last hour. Thus, the BIST 100 increased by 0.4% to levels of 9,690 towards the closing. The index excluding BIST 100 performed better than the BIST 100 today. The stock market started the week with a drop due to tensions in the Middle East and showed a picture pricing in the November inflation, which is expected to be below 2%, to be announced tomorrow.

Looking at the sectors, the top three gaining sectors today were sports, trade, and textiles. Towards the closing, a few sectors remained in the negative, with banks, holding companies, and insurance leading the declines.

Conversely, the five biggest decliners in the BIST 100 were: BTCIM RGYAS KCHOL EKGYO BINHO

Overall, the top gaining stocks in Borsa Istanbul today were HOROZ, CEOEM, and KRGYO, while IEYHO, OTTO, and EMNIS were among the biggest losers.

Domestically, today the dollar/TL remained stable at around 34.72. The Euro/TL experienced a decline of over half a point, trading at 36.46, while the gram gold price saw a 0.25% drop, trading at 2,953 TL.

In foreign markets, today the Asian markets showed positive movement. European indices also followed a buying trend towards the end of the day, while US indices started the day positively. Nasdaq was the most gaining index at the opening, rising by 0.6%.
