Public Review of the Environmental Impact Assessment Report for Galata Wind Energy's Shah Wind Farm Capacity Expansion Project

The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report regarding the capacity increase project for Shah Wind Power Plant, planned by Galata Wind Energy (IS:GWIND), has been opened for public opinion.

In a statement made on the website of the General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permission and Inspection, the following information was provided:

"The Environmental Impact Assessment Report prepared for the capacity increase of the Shah Wind Power Plant (from 35 turbines 105 MWm / 105 MWe to 36 turbines 111.8 MWm / 111.8 MWe) planned by GALATA WIND ENERJİ A.Ş. in the Karacabey district of Bursa Province has been reviewed and finalized by the Review and Evaluation Commission (İDK). The report has been opened to the public for opinions and suggestions for ten (10) calendar days, in accordance with the 14th article, paragraph (1) of the EIA Regulation, at the Ministry and the Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. The opinions conveyed to the Ministry/Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change will be taken into account in the decision-making process related to the project. During this process, opinions and suggestions can be submitted to the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change or the Bursa Provincial Directorates of Environment and Urbanization."
