Albaraka Türk and Albaraka Pakistan Join Forces to Strengthen International Trade
Forex - Albaraka Türk (IS:ALBRK) has partnered with Albaraka Pakistan under the leadership of Albaraka Group B.S.C. (c) to enhance the commercial interaction between the two countries.
During the "Albaraka Group Trade Finance Collaboration" event, Albaraka Türk and Albaraka Pakistan initiated cooperation in the B2B platform established by Albaraka Group to connect member bank customers from various countries around the world.
The meeting, which announced the collaboration aimed at identifying the sectors influencing foreign trade activities in both countries and strengthening potential opportunities in new market areas, was attended by Albaraka Türk General Manager Malek Temsah, Deputy General Manager Serhan Yıldırım, Istanbul Consul General of Pakistan Nauman Aslam, Chairman of the Turkey-Pakistan Business Council of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK) Atilla D. Yerlikaya, Board Member of the Anadolu Aslanları İş Adamları Derneği (ASKON) Muhammed Veysel Vural, General Manager of Albaraka Pakistan Muhammad Atif Hanif, Turkey's Consul General in Pakistan Cemal Sangu, senior executives from Albaraka Türk and Albaraka Pakistan, as well as foreign trade company representatives and businesspeople from both countries.
In his speech at the meeting, Albaraka Türk General Manager Malek Temsah emphasized that Turkey and Pakistan have had long and strong economic relations in recent years, particularly in sectors such as energy, telecommunications, textiles, infrastructure, food processing, automotive, and machinery. He stated: "As the first and pioneering participation bank of Turkey, Albaraka Türk has always prioritized international partnerships aimed at supporting trade and investments in the global business environments we operate in and will continue to do so. This collaboration we have initiated with Albaraka Pakistan clearly demonstrates our confidence in the Preferential Trade Agreement signed between our countries in 2022 and our support for the annual trade volume target. We are pleased to partner with Albaraka Pakistan to facilitate the exchange of ideas and opportunities between the two countries, and we believe this joint effort will make significant contributions to both national economies and commercial stakeholders."
