BIST Companies That Stood Out with Business Deals in the Last Week
Companies listed on Borsa Istanbul continue to increase their revenues through recent business agreements. In the past week, 12 companies were observed to sign significant contracts. We have compiled those companies that achieved a considerable contribution to their revenue from these agreements.
Significant revenue contribution from Verus VERUS signed the most notable agreement of the week. The company finalized a major contract valued at over its annual revenue. The total value of the agreement reached 838,851,110 TL, which corresponds to 100.47% of its 2023 revenue.
Strong contribution from ASTOR to Ukraine's energy infrastructure ASTOR took a significant step towards the renewal of Ukraine's energy infrastructure. On November 22, 2024, it signed a sales contract worth 29,490,000 dollars (1,016,349,258 TL) with a private company located abroad. This agreement constitutes 6% of ASTOR's 2023 revenue, marking an important step in contributing to Ukraine's energy infrastructure projects on an international level.
Two agreements from Forte last week FORTE signed two important agreements last week. The first was related to the AFAD tender. The company won a lot for the establishment of the information system infrastructure for service buildings in Muğla, Kütahya, İzmir, and Trabzon, opened by the Turkish Ministry of Interior's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority. The tender amount was announced as 26,950,000 TL excluding VAT. In the other agreement, Forte received an order for hardware, license procurement, installation, and maintenance services for Türk Telekomünikasyon A.Ş. This contract was valued at 2,282,000 dollars.
Turk Ilac won the DMO tender Turk Ilac (TRILC) achieved a significant success in the Health Market Procurement Tender opened by the State Supply Office. The tender won under the "TURKFLEKS" brand was worth 122,818,324.86 TL + VAT. This agreement is highlighted as a strategic move that reinforces the company’s position and effectiveness in the healthcare sector, representing 4.75% of its 2023 revenue.
Sales of solar panels and products from CW Enerji Cw Enerji Mühendislik (CWENE) reached a sales agreement for solar energy panels with a significant domestic customer last week. This contract is valued at 1,110,121.25 dollars (38,379,999.95 TL) excluding VAT, with project completion anticipated in the first quarter of 2025. Additionally, the company signed a framework sales contract worth a total of 295,000,000 TL with five sales points across Turkey, encompassing the staggered delivery of various products throughout 2025. Sales, payment, and delivery terms will be individually arranged for each purchase, aiming to further expand the company’s product portfolio and sales network.
Export initiative to China from DCT Trading DCT Trading (DCTTR) completed a cotton sale valued at 41,885,000 TL (1,210,000 dollars) last week. Of this amount, 34,165,000 TL was sold to domestic buyers, while 7,720,000 TL was exported to China. The sale to China marks the first export transaction for the 2024/2025 cotton season. Beginning shipments from this agreement represent an important step for DCT Trading in strengthening its presence in international markets.
Order for distribution transformers for solar energy projects from Europower Enerji Europower Enerji (EUPWR) received an order for "Various power and quantity Distribution Transformers" from a contracting firm in Turkey, intended for solar power plant projects across various locations in the country. The value of this order was determined to be 1,520,000 dollars (52,668,000 TL) excluding taxes. The agreement enhances Europower Enerji's effectiveness in the renewable energy sector while drawing attention with its solutions for telecommunications projects.
Manas Enerji signs new order agreements in Egypt The Egyptian branch of Manas Enerji Yönetimi Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (MANAS), LENE MANAS EGY FOR TRADE, INDUSTRY, IMPORT AND EXPORT CO, received an order that includes remote communication water meters and spare parts. The total value of the order is 23,559,472 Egyptian pounds, approximately equivalent to 475,000 dollars. Deliveries of the products are planned to be carried out in batches in the first half of 2025.
