TANKER REPORT - 30 Tankers Present in Black Sea Ports
Foreks - A total of 30 tankers are currently located at Black Sea ports, which serve as the first point of contact for oil arriving in the region to reach the world through the Istanbul and Çanakkale Straits. According to a report prepared by Tribeca Maritime Services and shared via email, 22 of the tankers are classified as aframax, 6 as suezmax, and 3 as panamax. It was noted that the total number of tankers in the Black Sea is 40, considering those that have not yet docked at the ports. The ports in Russia where tankers are docking in the Black Sea include Novorossiysk, Taman, Kavkaz, and Tuapse, as well as Supsa in Georgia. Among these, 24 tankers are currently docked in Novorossiysk, 4 in Taman, and 2 in Kavkaz. There are no tankers present in Supsa and Tuapse.
