Capital Markets Board Warns Against Phone Scams
The Capital Markets Board (CMB) has warned against phone fraud. In a statement, it was noted that recently, individuals identifying themselves as CMB executives or employees, or as relatives of these individuals, have been soliciting money from citizens or companies using the names of board members or personnel. The statement added, "Those engaging in such activities, which can be classified as fraud, should not be trusted. Individuals who have fallen victim to phone fraud can always file a criminal complaint and exercise all their legal rights to seek compensation for their losses."
