BYD Requests Price Reductions from Suppliers

According to a report based on undisclosed sources, Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD has requested price reductions from dozens of its suppliers. The report states that the automaker primarily sent requests to suppliers of electric control units and sensors, but it may send additional requests to some of its more than 8,000 suppliers in other categories.
