ITO/Avdagiç: Sustainable Decline in Inflation Will Be Primarily Supported by Production, Employment, Exports, and Investments
In his assessment regarding inflation, Şekib Avdagiç, President of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, stated, "The main and biggest support for a lasting decrease in inflation will come from production, employment, exports, and investments. We can achieve this through the coordinated efforts of the real sector and economic management."
Avdagiç's statement continued: "I would like to express my gratitude to Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek for their visit to the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) Board of Directors."
He noted that during the meeting, as ITO, which has 820,000 members, they had the opportunity to convey the business community's demands and expectations focused on "Production-Employment-Export-Investment" regarding the 2025 Economic Program targets.
Şekib Avdagiç emphasized that they comprehensively discussed the latest developments related to the economic program they united for success, reaffirming, "The main and biggest support for a lasting decrease in inflation will come from production, employment, exports, and investments. We can achieve this through the coordinated efforts of the real sector and economic management."
