EU/Borrell: Israel Should Support Proposed Ceasefire in Lebanon

Forex - The European Union's foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell, called on Israel to support the ceasefire agreement proposed for Lebanon, which he stated includes all necessary security guarantees for Israel.
Speaking at the G7 Foreign Ministers' meeting, Josep Borrell emphasized that there is no justification for the non-implementation of the agreement reached with Iran-backed Hezbollah, stating that pressure must be exerted on Israel to approve the agreement today.
A senior Israeli official indicated that Israel will approve the U.S. ceasefire plan with Hezbollah on Tuesday.
