Istanbul Stock Exchange Sustained Its Upward Trend Throughout the Day: Today's Top Gaining Stocks
The BIST 100 index started the week positively, maintaining its upward trend throughout the day. Following a positive trend that has persisted for the last three weeks, the BIST 100 began the new week on a positive note, rising to 9,720 points by the end of the day. As the last hour approached, the index was trading around 9,660 points with a 1.25% increase. Today, the index outside of BIST 100 also experienced a value increase of 1.2%.
Today, the sectors that saw the highest demand on the Borsa Istanbul included transportation, insurance, and food. As the last hour approached, banks, which recorded a significant rise last week, became the only sector to decline, with a decrease of 0.3%. Subsequently, factoring and metal goods followed as the least demanded sectors.

Overall, on Borsa Istanbul, CASA, POLTK, and BOSSA stocks reached their ceiling price, becoming the top gainers. Meanwhile, EGSER, KERVN, and TDGYO stocks ranked as the most significant losers as the session approached its close.
In the domestic foreign exchange market, the dollar/TL maintained a value increase of 0.1%, hovering around 34.55 in the evening hours. The euro/TL saw a value increase of 0.6 today, reaching 36.42, while gram gold experienced a sharp decline of 2.2%, trading at 2,942 TL.
In international markets today, Asian markets maintained positive momentum except for Chinese indexes. While some country indexes in Europe were in negative territory, primary indexes such as DAX, FTSE 100, and CAC 40 were on the rise. U.S. indexes also started the new week positively.
