The Environmental Impact Assessment Report for Aksa Renewable Energy's Karahisar Storage Wind Farm Project is Now Open for Review

The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report for the Karahisar Storage Wind Farm project planned by Aksa Renewable Energy has been opened for public review. An announcement on the website of the General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment Permission and Inspection provided the following information:

"The EIA report prepared for the KARAHİSAR STORAGE (110.76 MWh / 110.76 MWe) WIND ENERGY PLANT (consisting of 21 turbines with an installed capacity of 110.76 MWm / 110.76 MWe), to be constructed by AKSA (IS: AKSA) RENEWABLE ENERGY PRODUCTION INC., in the Hocalar and Sincanlı (Sinanpaşa) districts of AFYONKARAHİSAR Province has been reviewed and finalized by the Review and Evaluation Commission (RVC). The report has been opened for public opinion and suggestions in accordance with Article 14 (1) of the EIA Regulation at the Ministry and the Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change for ten (10) calendar days. The opinions submitted to the Ministry/Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change will be taken into account during the decision-making process related to the project. During this process, opinions and suggestions can be submitted to the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change or the Provincial Directorates of Environment and Urbanization in AFYONKARAHİSAR."
