Worldsteel Revises Global Steel Production for October with a 1% Increase
Worldsteel announced today that it has made an upward revision to its October 2024 steel production figures following a change in South Korean data. The revised figures indicate that global crude steel production in October has risen by 1% year-on-year to 152.1 million metric tons. On Friday, the group had published data showing a 0.4% increase in global crude steel production, reaching 151.2 million tons.
